Privacy policy

What we collect

When you join the waitlist, we collect:

• your email address;
• if you choose to give them, your name, company, country or region, and which description fits you best (for example, golfer or retailer);
• a record that you agreed to receive updates, the wording you agreed to, and when you signed up;
• if you unsubscribe, the date you did.

Like most websites, our servers also keep standard technical logs, such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, for a limited time to keep the site secure and working.

We don't use analytics, advertising or social media tracking tools, and this site doesn't load scripts or fonts from other companies.

How we use it

• To send you updates about Roam and NexaMotion, such as when Roam is ready to reserve and demo days near you.
• To make those updates relevant, for example by country, and to help us plan where Roam launches first.
• If you tell us you're a course, retailer, distributor, potential partner or member of the press, to get in touch with you about that.
• To keep the website secure and prevent abuse.

We don't sell or rent your information, and we don't use it for advertising.

We only email you because you asked us to by ticking the consent box. You can withdraw that consent at any time.

Cookies

We only use cookies that the site needs to work. We don't use analytics or advertising cookies.

Where it's stored and who can see it

Your information is stored on servers we run with Amazon Web Services in the United States (Oregon). If you live outside the United States, this means your information is transferred to and stored there.

Only NexaMotion staff who need it can see it. We use service providers to run the site and, in future, to send our emails. They may only use your information to provide that service to us.

How long we keep it

We keep your information until you ask us to delete it, or until we no longer need it for the reasons above. If you unsubscribe, we stop emailing you but keep your email address and the date you unsubscribed, so we make sure never to email you again. Copies in our backups are deleted automatically within 90 days.

Your choices and rights

• Unsubscribe: every email we send will include an unsubscribe link, or you can email us.
• See, correct or delete your information: email us and we'll take care of it.

Depending on where you live, for example in Canada, the European Union, the United Kingdom or California, you may have further rights under local privacy law, including the right to complain to your privacy or data protection authority. We'll respond to requests within 30 days.

Children

This website isn't meant for children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you think a child has signed up, let us know and we'll delete it.

Security

This site uses encrypted connections (HTTPS), access to your information is restricted, and we keep regular backups. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect what you share with us.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. If a change affects how we use the information you've already given us, we'll let you know by email first.
